Dr. Kilby is originally from Wilkes County, NC, and still calls it home today. After completing his education, he served as a flight surgeon in the United States Air Force before establishing his private internal medicine practice in North Wilkesboro, NC. Dr. Kilby serves patients with an unparalleled bedside manner. At Tri-County Primary Care, patient-focused care is our highest priority. Dr. Kilby leads a team that is committed to improving our patients' health and overall quality of life.
Dr. Kilby graduated from Wake Forest College and then completed medical school at Bowman Gray School of Medicine. His residency in internal medicine was completed at North Carolina Baptist Hospital. Dr. Kilby's time in the U.S. Air Force contributed to his diverse medical background and expertise.
Throughout his career, Dr. Kilby has held several different roles, showcasing his versatility and dedication to healthcare. He has served as the county public health director, a hospital board member, insurance vice president and medical director, a contract physician with the North Carolina Department of Corrections, and the medical director of Wilkes County Detention Center. Dr. Kilby's involvement as a collaborative physician with Express Care of Yadkinville and his volunteer work in Guatemala highlights his commitment to providing medical care to all.
